To schedule an online session: Book Online Therapy Session
I am hearing from a lot of people that they held off calling a therapist because they assumed remote, online therapy would not be as helpful and effective as in-person therapy. And so far, I am happy to report everyone has been pleasantly surprised! The response to these type of sessions has been unanimous. People are finding relief and feeling supported.
Online counseling sessions are private, confidential, HIPAA protected, and broadband/WIFI is typically NOT needed.
Virtual therapy can be a phenomenal way to make time and space for support, self-exploration, understanding, and growth. It has been shown to have similar outcomes, in terms of patient satisfaction and self-reported growth, as in-person treatment. Over the last decade numerous research studies have shown the effective potential of online therapy.
My experiential and mindfulness based approach also lends itself very well to the remote modality.
